Danish TV and the newspaper Politiken made reports on Maersk workers in Dongguan
The story about Maersk has caught a lot af Media attention in Denmark. The Danish TV and the newspaper Politiken made reports on the Maersk case on 11 Jan 2009. The company HQ now said it will initiate an independent investigation about the complaints - espacially about violating ILO conventions and labor laws. It nevertheless denied that there are any major problems. It also said it would listen to the concerns of Globalization Monitor through a dialogue.
