Editor's note:
The author here reports on joining a one day action in Tokyo organised by the union called Zenrokyo, which is more progressive than the other two major federation of unions, the Rengo and the Zenroren. (For more about Japan trade unions please visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labor_unions_in_Japan ) On November 17, the union organised two buses full of workers and unionists to protest against those employers who infringed workers' rights. It includes three Chinese workers who worked in Japan under the internship scheme organised by the government of Japan. It turns out to be a scheme for importing cheap labor, and the latter's rights are often denied by unscrupulous employers. The report is only available in Chinese.
