Protest at Li & Fung over fatal blaze
Twenty people have protested outside the headquarters of Li and Fung in Lai Chi Kok, following the death of 100 people at a Bangladesh factory from which the trading firm outsources garments, RTHK reports.The demonstrators, from different labour groups, accused the company of neglecting international safety standards.

Joint Action Update: Protest against Adidas and its suppliers and support the demands of Indonesian and Chinese workers
Globalization Monitor joined the action called by the labor groups from the Philippines and Indonesia in Hong Kong to protest against the malpractices of Adidas and its suppliers yesterday. The groups staged the protest at Adidas Hong Kong office and criticized Adidas suppliers in Indonesia and China for mistreating their workers. The groups demanded that Adidas should be responsible for the workers producing for them and Adidas should immediately intervene to solve the plight of workers.

After a three days strike, Murata Power Guangzhou workers go back to work
More than 400 workers in a Japanese Company, the Guangzhou Murata Power Solutions Limited, which located in the Guangzhou Luoguang Industrial Zone, went on strike on June 14 last Friday and last until this morning. According interviews we make with workers, more than 400 workers went on strike because of dissatisfied wages and harsh management. They listed 25 demands to the management which includes raising basic wage to 1800 yuen, firing certain management officers, increase subsidiaries and so on.
